We have been coming to the Rotkehlchen regularly for many years because we love the ambience! This time there is also a review: The service was super friendly and the food was delicious as always. We appreciate the small menu, which is adjusted seasonally and therefore always varies. Online reservation went great this time, after the telephone reservation didn't work the previous time (either no one answered or I was put aside on the phone and ignored for over 10 minutes... Still, I'm not deducting a star because we actually are always satisfied.

Arrived 1 hour before the performance and wanted to eat something beforehand. A maximum of a third of the tables were occupied, we waited almost 20 minutes before an order could even be taken. It was clear that a real meal would be a bit scarce and would be confirmed when asked. But it wasn't even possible to get at least one portion of fries for the children 'quickly' (30 minutes?). Reason: Fries go quickly, but orders are processed as soon as they are received. Interestingly, while we were waiting, the table next door was able to order, even though they arrived later. Now I'm sitting in the performance with 3 hungry children. Thank you very much for that.

A small but fine menu with delicious dishes. The portions are just right and the prices are absolutely fine for Marburg standards. The ambience is charmingly arranged with the original wagon hall and offers seating on a gallery, in the bar area and generously in the beer garden. The nearby train station and the tracks cannot be heard, the transport connection with bus 8 is conveniently located. Or walk across the pedestrian walkway in the student park and you'll be right back in the city center. The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. In short, we will be very happy to come back.

Service is super friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant despite the nearby railways, easy to reach from the city center with good parking. The menu is very appealing with numerous vegan and vegetarian dishes. It's delicious too. Gladly again. The only point of criticism is the portion sizes, which vary relatively greatly on different days.

We celebrated our wedding reception and brunch the next day at the Rotkehlchen. What can you say: The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is delicious and the staff is discreet but helpful - and it's not overpriced here either. We were supported wherever necessary in the organization (e.g. we had to spontaneously move the celebration from outside to inside due to the weather conditions: the staff ensured that things went perfectly with a steady hand.) We would organize an event at the Rotkehlchen again at any time. The food in particular was praised by many of our guests.
